i've just gotten myself an iPad 32GB WiFi a month back, and i must say it's been a great study aid so far! i'd definitely recommend this device as a textbook replacement for college; or reading journals/magazines in the form of PDFs. as you can probably tell by now, the iPad's killer feature for me has to be it's capabilities as an e-reader. that said, we all know that the iPad is so much more than that. it's also a fantastic gaming machine, for example. consuming other forms of media just feels right with it too.
in fact, i found myself sharing photos with friends and family much more than before. take my grandma for example. she was feeling nostalgic about old and faded photo albums just a few months ago, and she told me about how much she didn't like that all her grandchildren keep their digital photographs on their computers and don't share them anymore. she was very pleasantly surprised indeed, when i showed her a slideshow of recently taken photos and videos on my iPad, all shot using my iPhone 4. she declared there and then that she wanted an iPad for herself! :-)
well, after a month of using the iPad, i have discovered various little tricks and hacks that made my life easier, and i shall be sharing them over the coming posts. these tips and tricks are pretty nifty, and i learned them either through trial and error, or from distilling information from the rest of the intarwebs ;-) sharing is the main goal of this blog, after all...
